This was his debut card with Topps and even though Bowman holds the honors of his official rookie card in 1951, Topps won over the collector's with their set. Many baseball card collectors believe the 1933 Goudey is the best baseball card set ever printed because of the high number of Hall of Famers included in the 240-card set. For as long back as I can remember I have looked forward to t.he start of a new Baseball season a.nd with it, t.he new boxes of that year's Baseball Cards. These may or may not be more valuable than a regular card, depending on whether (and how soon) the error was corrected and collector interest in the particular mistake. Baseball cards have been an irreplaceable part of American culture for over a century. At least one major dealer has reacted to this scarcity. Sometimes, if you have a complete set of cards, they will be worth quite a lot more than an incomplete collection.
