There are several companies that have taken up the job of getting hold of and selling baseball cards. Welcome to the Virtual Mark Grace Baseball Card Museum! The museum features the personal collection of Brad Wackerlin, creator of this website. These cards were about 2 ½” square and, for th.e first time, featured expanded statistical information on th.e backs of cards; th.e advertisements were still there, but relegated to th.e bottoms of th.e cards. Lionel Carter advertises in this issue looking to fill his wants in Batter-Ups, Big League, Sport Kings a.nd many other sets. Alley’s list there were many enthusiastic and sometimes short-lived publications by collectors and dealers starting in the 1940s. For example, Barry Bonds has cards in the Topps, Donruss and Fleer update sets from 1986 and these are considered his "extended rookie cards." While Burdick doesn’t have room to list individual cards in the Bulletins, you are encouraged to write him to borrowhis individual card listings for a short time. You will see that the Babe Ruth Rookie card fits into the category quite well.
